1981 Royal Tournament Medal.

One of the highlights of the year was the Royal Tournament, which ran from 1880 to 1999, especially the Gun Run. It showcased the skills and traditions of the British Armed Forces, featuring displays of drilling, gymnastics, horsemanship, and music. It was also a significant fundraising event for service charities. Why did it stop.
This medal was given to those who participated in the tournament, this one made from solid Nickel was a special edition as on the obverse, it features the newly married Price and Princess of Wales. On the reverse shows the emblem of the combined forces.
