WW1 Era Canadian Mounted Rifles Matchbox Holder

This solid brass matchbox holder is quite simple in its construction just a folded round piece of metal but the owner saw fit to embellish it with dot decoration and to one side (not easy to see) he has put ‘F N Donald 116029’ on the other side is a collar dog for the 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles British Columbia Horse and to the spine it has ‘Ypres’. The piece comes in fair condition requiring a good clean and it measures nearly 2.5 inches long.
