German WW2 Eastern Peoples Medal 2nd Class Bronze

The Eastern Peoples Medal or Ostvolk Medal was awarded for gallantry and merit for Members of the Eastern Peoples and the Soviet Union who volunteered to fight alongside German forces. Established in July 1942, it was warded in three classes, gold, silver and bronze and for bravery with swords or for merit without swords and also in 1st and 2nd class, 1st class, solid with pin back and 2nd class suspended on a ribbon.
This one is a 2nd bronze class award with swords and with its correct plain green ribbon.
It is in superb condition with virtually no wear it has the makers number of 16 on the suspender ring for Alois Rettenmeyer of Schwabisch Gmund, near Baden.
