Two Victorian Brass Uniforms Buttons – Same Maker
Two antique Victorian era brass uniform buttons both by the same maker Smith & Wright Limited of Birmingham, the larger button is probably general service, it has the crowned Victorian cypher surrounded by a laurel leaf, this measures approx. one inch in diameter and is in fair condition for its age, the smaller button is for the Royal Horse Artillery dating between 1873 to 1901, accurately dated due to it having one cannon, this surmounted by the queen’s crown, slightly smaller than the other is also comes in fair condition.
