Scarce Victorian 6th V B Gordon Highlanders Glengarry Badge.

A scarce solid white metal Glengarry Badge worn by the OR’s of the 6th Volunteer Battalion Gorden Highlanders post Childers Reform 1884 to 1908 when the Volunteer battalion were encompassed into the Territorials. These original badges were made by several different makers so both 2 and 3 lug (hard soldered) variations exist. This one is in superb condition with some signs of use and a beautiful original patination. It measures 2.25 inches in diameter.
