1916 Battle of Jutland Medal by Spink.
The Jutland medal was struck immediately after the battle had been fought and before it had received its official title. Made by Spink & Sons London for the benefit of naval orphanages. It was issued in several sizes and in gold, silver, bronze and a silver-plated base metal. This one is the smallest size for a watch fob in sterling silver, and it comes in near mint condition and in its original box of issue. It measures just under 1 inch in diameter.
