German Navy Officers Dagger by Eickhorn.

A very nice example of the WW2 Era German Kriegsmarine officer’s dagger. Eagle pommel and white grip bound with twisted gilt wire. Good blade etched with Anchor and foliate scrolls on both sides with the circa 1941 Eickhorn maker’s mark. It comes with its original scabbard and the whole piece in in very good condition with the only faults being, the blade has a few marks, which will probably come off with a light clean and most of its original gilt finish has been polished away, just evidence in the dagger’s recesses and one of the rings has had a repair which needs cleaning up. But overall a lovely dagger, measuring 16.25 inches long.
