WW2 Era Kriegsmarine Ratings Deck Cap.

A rare original 1930’s – WW2 German naval ratings deck cap. Made of a very fine wool with original tally and badges. Inside has a composite sweat band and a red cotton crown which is marked ‘Hetha Marine’. The cap is in superb but used condition and its badges are top quality examples. The original silk and bullion tally shows wear, but just age can do this to silk. A very fine and rare original wartime cap in lovely condition.
