Antique Japanese Dinning Trouse.

A 19th Century Japanese Eating set known as a Trouse. It contains a kinfe with decorated brass pommel, bone grip and steel blade, one side inlayed with gold coloured metal. A pair of chop sticks, not 100% sure what these are made of, possibly wood, bamboo or quill. All three items fit into a bamboo scabbard decorated with engraved brass fittings. These items were worn by gentlemen along with other personal items on the belt or Obi.
It comes in very good order with one small dent to the brass on the scabbard. It measures 10 inches long.
