WW1 Era British No 23 Mk II Mills Rifle Grenade
The British No 23 Mark II time-fused Mills rifle grenade, manufactured (although no obvious marks for this) by E.A. Radnall and Company Birmingham, in 1916 the Mills grenade was adapted for use as a rifle grenade by the addition of a rod screwed to the base, this example is nicely marked on the top of the screw plug and comes in very good condition for its age measuring approx. 11 inches long.
