WW2 German Luftwaffe Paratroopers Badge by Brüder Schneider.

A superb early Luftwaffe paratrooper badge by Brüder Schneider of Wien, with BSW clover leaf mark on reverse. Constructed of a nickel wreath and a gilded brass eagle, both correct for this maker. On the back it has its original pin and clasp, wide hinge, needle pin and bulky wire hook and two small brass rivets holding the eagle, again all correct for this maker. The condition is beautiful with a nice even tone of patination, gilt worn on eagle. It measures just over 1.5 inches by 2 inches.
