Antique Hiatt Come Along or Nipper Handcuffs

Dating from the late Victorian/Edwardian era these handcuffs were made by Hiatt & Co a well know manufacturer of prison restraints, they are known as ‘come along’ or ‘nipper’ cuffs and are a snap or snatch type utilizing a spring clip locking mechanism rather than a traditional key, made from wrought steel they measure approx. 5.25 long and come in very good condition.
