Interesting Post WW1 Postcard – Reverend Lt Colonel Wingfield DSO

Based on this image the Reverend Lieutenant Colonel William E, Wingfield appears to have been a bit of a character, this card shows him dressed as a ‘Punjab soldier in plain clothes’, he appears an older man in this shot and I know from some basic research that he had a young son who died at Gallipoli in 1916 aged just 19 and that he married a lady from Bungay Suffolk which is just down the road from me. As a D.S.O winner there is far more research that can be done on this man, the card comes in very good condition.
