The imposing Bulgarian Order of 9th September 1944 2nd class 1st issue for the scarcer civil division.
This Bulgarian state honour was established on September 14, 1945, to commemorate the 1944 coup d'état that brought the Communist regime to power. It was awarded in three classes, with both civil (without swords) and military (with crossed swords) divisions, recognizing participation in the insurrection, service to the government, or bravery. This is a lovely example, no damage to the enamels and on its original suspender.
