WW1 German Memorial Card – Wagner

A German memorial card for Ludwig Wagner a foreman bricklayer from Sandthal. Bugler with the 2nd P.J Regiment, 6th company. He was killed on 17th October 1914 in the Battle near Sablaye, close to Nisankowis at the age of 35. He met a hero’s death for the fatherland. With photograph wearing a Jäger uniform. Card is a little scruffy mostly on the back.
