19th Century Bull Ring.

A 19th century or earlier bull ring used to fix on the bull’s nose to handle or walk the bull. It replaced piercing the bull’s nose with a permanent ring which could cause infection. An interesting antique farming bygone, measuring 8.5 inches long.
