Vintage Nepalese Kora and Scabbard.

The traditional Nepalese executioner's sword is called the Kora or Khora. Designed primarily for swift decapitation, it features a heavy, forward-curving blade that flares outward at the tip to maximize the downward chopping force. It has a brass guard and a Kukri type grip. What is very rare with this sword, it comes with its original scabbard. Because of the shape of the blade, the scabbard comes in two half’s and has three straps to hold it together, two of the straps have old repairs. This heavy weight sword is in excellent condition and measures 31 inches long.
