The French Model 1882 Infantry Officer’s Sword, renowned as a stiff, needle-pointed thrusting weapon, it features a nickel silver four-bar hilt which replaced earlier heavier models. A moulded horn grip bound with twisted wire. It has a long straight blade engineered specifically for thrusting rather than cutting, ending is a needle point.
