1st Pattern Luftwaffe Dagger by Krebs.

A superb 1st pattern Luftwaffe officers’ dagger by Carl Julius Krebs of Solingen. It has plated nickel pommel and cross guard; some nickel on the pommel has worn but on cross guard mostly present. a leather grip bound with twisted wire and a very good quality blade with maker’s mark. The leather scabbard has plated fittings all in good order, the blue stain on the leather has darkened and slightly worn, but leather has no damage.
A very nice example by a very sought-after maker in untouched excellent condition.
It measures just over 19 inches long.
