Pre WW2 Girl Guides Skylark Patrol Badge.

A wool felt and embroidered badge, Girl Guides Skylark Bird Patrol badge. Each patrol has a Patrol Leader (an older guide) and a Patrol Seconder of a group of around eight girls and plan their own camps, games, and earn badges together. Patrols can choose animal or bird themes. Other examples include the Robin, Wren, and Swallow. This one dates from the pre-WW2 era 1920’s – 30’s and comes in very good used condition. It measures 2 inches in diameter.
