Unique WW1 Era Wounded Soldiers Brass Plaque - Hackney

This oak wood mounted brass plaque reads ‘Presented by The Well Street Hackney and surrounding district wounded soldiers and sailors entertainment fund for the use of ‘our boys’ at the hostel, 38 Pembury road Hackney November 1918’ I think that explains it all really, the plaques comes in very good condition and measures just over 10 inches x 4.75.
