A wonderful example of this type of sword, issued just pre the Crimean war, this was the first sword that was issued to both light and heavy cavalry and when the 1864 pattern was issued to regular cavalry, these were mostly passed on to the yeomanry regiments.

A wonderful example of the bronze medal awarded to naval ratings who were serving with Nelson’s fleet at the Battle of the Nile August 1778. This rare medal was commissioned by Alexander Davidson to celebrate the victory; it is inscribed around the rim ‘A Tribute of Regard from Alex’ Davidson’.
