A late Victorian Fireman’s axe or hatchet with a good, forged steel head with a Cannock makers mark and a registration number for 1901/2. It has an elm wood shaft and the long tang of the axe fits and is bolted to the shaft. It is in lovely original condition and measures 16 inches long. read more
