Rare French Napoleonic Cartridge Pouch 2nd Light Regiment.
A French black leather pouch dating from around 1810 and issued to a solider in the 2nd battalion of the 2nd light regiment and could have easily been used during the battle of Waterloo 1815. A pair of scarce WW2 cloth patches made of embroidered silk on to wool felt backing, for the Orkney and Shetland district defence command.
This district command included anti-aircraft units and search light units, mainly taken from Northern regiments.
