It is a mid-war type, pressed metal with silver wash; the wash has worn in places but in very good condition. The field grey painted tin plate for the 22 Reserve Ersatz regiment. It was worn on the grey felt pickelhaube, the plate often survived but the helmet did not. This is in very good used condition.
