WW1 German Silver Wound Badge & Pin.

WW1 issue German wound badge in silver or 2nd class awarded for being wounded three or four times, or suffering loss of a hand, foot or eye facial disfigurement or brain damage caused in action with the enemy. It is a mid-war type, pressed metal with silver wash; the wash has worn in places but in very good condition. Solid Iron DAF Factory Plaque.

These were made in various materials, this one in solid cast iron. It was displayed in factories, workshops and workplaces who were non-union and members of the German Labour Front or Deutsche Arbeitsfront. It has the motto at the bottom which translates to Honour the work and respect the worker. A good WW2 early issue of the German War Merit Cross with swords for combatants. Awarded to soldiers for exceptional service "not in direct connection with combat". Recipients had to win this grade of the award before being awarded the first-class medal.

WW1 Era German Pickelhaube Plate.

The field grey painted tin plate for the 22 Reserve Ersatz regiment. It was worn on the grey felt pickelhaube, the plate often survived but the helmet did not. This is in very good used condition.

The silver-plated version of the Winter help thank you pin, issued to the Northern people during the winter of 1933 and 1934. In good condition, however the back has quite a bit of wear.
