Scarce Vintage USA 63rd Field Artillery Battalion Pin Badge

A scarce vintage brass and coloured enamels pin badge for the 63rd field artillery battalion, bears the motto ‘hanau ia no ke kaua’ which translates from the Hawaiian as ‘ born for war’. No makers mark but these badges were considered to have been made in Japan for post war occupation. This example comes in very good condition and measures just over one inch long.  read more

This is the British silver watch fob size medallion commemorating the battle of Jutland on the 31st of May 1916 ‘ to the glorious memory of those who fell’, it was made by Spink & Son and was sold for the benefit of Naval orphanages.
