Early 19th Century Wellington Victory Coin.

An 1812 milled copper coin struck to commemorate the victories of the Duke of Wellington during the Peninsular war from the year of 1812. It names the battles of Cuidad Rodrigo Jan 19th. Badajoz April 2nd. Salamanca July 22nd, etc. around the edge is named other earlier battles. It measures just over 1 inch in diameter and although heavily toned, comes in excellent collectable grade.  read more
