Late WW1 OR’s Forage Cap.

The late WW1 – 1920’s Other Ranks economy forage cap, this one sporting an original badge of the Norfolk Regiment, original leather chin strap and side buttons. It is made of serge wool with canvas sweat band and waxed Linin crown cover inside. WW2 Era ATS Leggings?

I’m not sure what these are, the closest things they resemble is modern leggings, there is a slight flare to one end and both ends are finished to stop fraying, made like ATS stockings from wool one has a small darn in the leg suggesting use but otherwise they appear hardly used, they measure approx 15 inches long.  read more

The 1902 pattern Pith or Tropical helmet with single band and no Pagari used during the during the late 1930’s and through the 2nd world war. In buff colour with original liner and chin strap. The cloth covering has a few marks and stains but apart from that in excellent used condition.  read more
