The blackened brass cap badge worn by the 1st/1st Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, the Buckinghamshire Battalion territorials. They formed part of the 8th (South Midland) Division during the great war.
This badge is in good used condition with slight wear to the high points.

I have a few of these which has come in with a Scottish badge collection, they have all been taken from old Glengarry’s so this one has some signs of use and wear. as they were all handmade there are some slight differences from the one photographed. Almost Identical to the 1853 Carbine used at the end of the Crimean war by British artillery and cavalry.
