George VI Royal Engineers Wood Plaque with Back Stand

This is a nicely detailed wood plaque bearing the King’s crown with the George VI cypher and is the badge for the Royal Engineers with their Latin motto included. It has a fold flat integral wood back stand for display purposes, it comes in very good condition and stands 7.75 inches tall.  read more

Vintage Royal Navy Embroidered Silk Sweetheart Handkerchief

A pretty silk handkerchief probably dating from WW2 or just later, it has the embroidered emblem for the Royal Navy to one section, the edge is trimmed with pink lace but unusually it has a little pocket in one corner housing an attached powder puff, so a ‘two in one’ gift for a forces sweetheart, measuring 9.5 inches x 9.5 it comes in lovely condition.  read more

A 2nd Anglo Boer war Queens South Africa Medal correctly named and awarded to 3058 Corporal John Smith of the 2nd battalion the Norfolk Regiment. With three correctly attached clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal.

Post WW1 Offices Tropical Uniform.

1920/30’s tropical tunic and jacket worn by a Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Engineers. Made of a heavy cotton drill material in a light khaki colour. The tunic has bag front pockets, brass belt hooks, George V RE buttons and kings crown and one pip on shoulders. It measures 40 inch chest, 46 inch waist and 16 inches across the shoulders. Vintage KRRC Officers Mess Dress.

Pre 1958 Officers mess dress for a Captain of the Kings Royal Rifle Corps. A beautiful quality uniform, the jacket made from black wool with silk cords and black velvet embellishments. It has a quilted silk lining and comes with matching trousers with black ribbon stripe and matching waistcoat.

WW2 RAF NCO’s Side Cap.

A good original RAF No-2 dress cap worn by Non-commissioned officers air crew from around 1940. It is silk lined with a velvet sweat band and comes with its original 2-part cap badge and kings crown buttons.

1930’s DRL Sports Badge – Bronze.

German Sports Badges was issued for the completion of various physical and athletic tests, this one is in bronze so a 3rd class award.
Although there is some wear to the surface of this badge, it comes in very good condition so it’s only main fault really, is it has a small kink in the pin. A fine example with good makers details on the back.  read more
