A single Victory medal correctly named to 16643 Private William Simmonds of the 1st Battalion the Essex Regiment.
William Simmonds was born in Ilford Essex 1881. In the 1911 census he is married to Nellie with two children. At this time, he was employed as a Farm labourer living at 9 Ward Road West Ilford.

Book – Vietnam The Real War a Photographic History

A 2013 issue of a large book containing over 300 pages of mainly photographs taken by over 50 Associated Press journalists showing the reality of the war in Vietnam, black and white shots with the odd colour pic, the book comes in very good condition, it has its dust cover which has a small tear to the top.
