Scarce Original Photograph Officers & Men 4th Irish Dragoon Guards 1908.

A scarce original framed and glazed photograph of the Officers, NCO’s & men of the 4th Irish Dragoon Guards 1894 to 1908. Seepier colour with hand written naming of all the men and officers. It is in very good condition, foxing partially over two of the men’s names and a little faded, but an incredible historical piece, measuring 17.5 x 16 inches.  read more

Unusual Miniature WW2 Bayonet 1939.

It is a miniature Swiss Schmidt-Rubin long bayonet with a deep fuller on each side. At the ricasso on one side is the head of what looks like to me, King Leopold I of Belgium and under this on the guard is stamped 1939. On the other side is the makers details of Rauroux of Chexbres. Vintage Hunting Knife & Sheath.

A very good quality vintage hunting knife with a bird’s head type pommel, thick plastic scales and a one-piece guard. All metal parts were nickel plated. It has a very good steel blade; this has some scratches where it has been machine sharpened. It measures 11.5 inches long and comes in its original Rexine sheath which has some wear and little damage.
