A good original Post WW2 US Marine Corps 1911 pattern Colt pistol holster. It is stamped with the makers details on the back ‘P/11 (53711) 6086011 Cathey Enterprises Inc 9mmRH’. Cathey Enterprises made leather good for the US Military from 1916, but black coloured leather holsters were not used until after 1955.
