European style Asian brass cricket box, made to house pet or fighting crickets. This dates far back in Chinese and some Asian cultures. In late summer and autumn, mature male crickets were collected and traded in major cities.

WW1 Machine Gun Corps Officers Cap Badge.

A good officer’s bronze badge with a maker’s pad mark for Firmin London. All folding blades are missing from the back and a brooch type fitting added.
