A WW1 era grenade cap badge of the Royal Munster Fusiliers. It is interesting to note that this regiment was initially formed from by linking tow of the old East India Company regiments, the 101st Royal Bengal Fusiliers and the 104th Bengal Fusiliers, hence why the main figure on the badge is the Bengal Tiger. The larger size brass badge worn by the Queen Mary’s Regiment, Surrey Yeomanry from around 1910. Although this badge has been well used, it is still in good order, however the two lugs on the back have been replaced by a slider and the kings crown is slightly bent forward to fit the cap comfortably.
